If you are allergic to permethrin or any other ingredients in Nix Dermal Cream, you should not use it. Allergic reactions to Nix Dermal Cream are rare but can occur. If you experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or severe rash, seek immediate medical attention.
Do not apply Nix Dermal Cream to open cuts or wounds.
For children aged 2 to 23 months, Nix Dermal Cream should only be used under medical supervision. The dose required is usually between 1/8 and 1/4 of a 30 g tube. Infants should also be treated on the scalp, temples, and forehead.
The safety of Nix Dermal Cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. Consult with a healthcare provider before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
