Clobex shampoo (Clobetasol) is used by adults to treat moderate to severe scalp psoriasis. It is a topical (skin-applied) corticosteroid medication that works by reducing swelling, redness, and itching associated with this condition

Clobetasol is a very strong (super-high-potency) corticosteroid, specifically designed to address severe symptoms of scalp psoriasis.

This medication is not recommended for use in children or those less than 18 years of age due to an increased risk of side effects. Treatment with this medication should be limited to 4 weeks, and the use of more than 50 milliliters (1.75 ounces) of shampoo per week is not advised

Do’s

  • Apply only to your scalp as directed by your healthcare provider, typically once daily.
