Valisone Scalp Lotion is a topical medication indicated for the management of dermatoses of the scalp and may also be used in corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

The lotion is used to help relieve symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling, and other discomfort caused by skin conditions affecting the scalp, including eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and seborrhea.

The active ingredient, betamethasone valerate, belongs to the class of medications called topical corticosteroids. It works by reducing redness, inflammation, swelling, and irritation of the skin.
