Kwellada P Cream Rinse (Permethrin - non Rx)

Drug Description : This medication is used to treat pediculosis (lice) and scabies. Kwellada Cream Rinse works by entering into the insects mouth, airways, or their surface coverings and then paralyzing the nervous system, inhibiting the metabolism and causing complex series of reactions in various organs which leads to the death of the insect.This medication should be stored at room temperature. Keep the medication away from heat and moisture.Before using Kwellada Cream Rinse, check all household members for nits (lice eggs) and lice to help prevent reinfestation and the try to stop the spread of infestation to others. Do not treat Kwellada Cream Rinse on a person who does not have lice or nits. Read the directions on the label. Use a non-conditioning shampoo to shampoo your hair and rinse completely. Dry hair thoroughly and then apply the Kwellada Cream Rinse. Saturate your hair and scalp including areas behind the ears and nape of the neck. Leave the Kwellada Cream Rinse on the hair and skin for 10 minutes and then rinse the scalp and hair. Dry your hair with a clean towel and then use the comb provided to remove dead lice and nits from your hair.Do not use the Kwellada Cream Rinse if you do not have lice; are hypersensitive to any ingredients in the medication and/or chrysanthemum (where the medication is made from); if you have asthma; pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. When using the Kwellada Cream Rinse, do not let the medication to come in contact with the nose, mouth, or eyes.Before using this medicine, tell your health care providers about any of the following: if you planning on using it on children under the age of two; if you have asthma; if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are hypersensitive to Kwellada Cream Rinse's ingredients or to chrysanthemum's.When using Kwellada Cream Rinse to treat lice and scabies, it is important to also machine wash in hot water any coats, bed linen and headgear. After the clothing has been washed, dry under the hot cycle for a minimum of 20 minutes. Items that cannot be washed may be dry cleaned, sealed in a bag for a minimum of 2 weeks, or can be sprayed with another treatment product. Combs and brushes also needs to be soaking in hot water (minimum 130F) for 5 to 10 minutes.
