Store Aristocort R Ointment at room temperature and away from the influence of heat or moisture. Keep Aristocort R Ointment away from children and out of their reach.

Before using Aristocort R Ointment, inform your doctor of any health problems that you have. In addition, tell your health care provider about any other skin products that you use. Some of them may interfere with this medication.

Unless specified by your doctor, do not bandage or cover the skin being treated with Aristocort R Ointment. Also, do not use Aristocort over large areas of your body as this could increase the risk of side effects.

Patient Family Information: Aristocort R Ointment should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. Generally, Aristocort R Ointment is used three to four times in a day. When using, apply a thin film of Aristocort R Ointment over the affected area. Also, make sure not to get this ointment in your eyes or mouth.

If you have any known allergies to ingredients of Aristocort R Ointment or if your current medication interferes with this ointment. Discuss this with your doctor. In addition, if you have a viral skin condition, fungal skin condition, or tuberculosis do not use Aristocort R Ointment. In addition, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to have a child, or are breast feeding before using this medication.

Sever Side Effects : Some serious side effects include allergic reactions such as getting hives, trouble breathing, or swelling up. Also, if you feel extreme irritation, make sure to contact your doctor as soon as possible.
