Vastarel MR, which contains the active ingredient trimetazidine, is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients who are inadequately controlled or intolerant to first-line therapies.

Stable angina is a type of chest pain that occurs when the heart muscle does not receive enough blood and oxygen. Vastarel MR helps to improve the energy metabolism of heart muscle cells, protecting them from the effects of reduced oxygen supply.
