Do’s

• Before initiating treatment with Revatio, review the Patient Information Leaflet and Instructions for Use, if available, provided by your pharmacist. If you have any queries, seek advice from your healthcare provider.
• To manage pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), take this medication orally as directed by your healthcare provider, typically three times a day. It can be taken with or without food. Prior to each dose, ensure to shake the bottle well for 10 seconds. Use a specialized measuring device/spoon to carefully measure the dose. 
• The specific dosage is determined based on your medical condition, response to treatment, and concurrent medications. Inform your healthcare provider about all the products you are using, including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products. For pediatric patients, the dosage is typically based on their weight.
• Consistency in taking this medication is key to reaping its maximum benefits. To aid in remembering, take it at the same times each day.
• If your condition does not show signs of improvement or worsens, promptly inform your healthcare provider.

Don’ts

• Avoid using a household spoon to measure the medication, as it may lead to an incorrect dose.
• Refrain from increasing your dose or taking Revatio more frequently than prescribed. Doing so will not expedite the improvement of your condition, and it may elevate the risk of experiencing side effects.
• Do not mix Revatio with any other medications or liquids.

Common Side Effects:

• Flushing (warmth and redness of the face or body)
• Indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Insomnia
• Shortness of breath
• Diarrhea
• Nasal congestion
• Muscle pain (myalgia)
