Klor-Con Powder (Potassium Chloride Pwd)

Do’s

• To prevent stomach upset, mix your Klor-Con powder dose with cold water (4-8 ounces) or juice as directed by your doctor.
• If using the liquid form, carefully measure the dose using the provided measuring device/spoon, not a household spoon.
• After mixing, slowly drink the entire Klor-Con solution.
• Take each dose with a meal or immediately after eating to reduce stomach upset.
• Take Klor-Con powder regularly at the same time(s) each day for maximum benefit.
• Tell your doctor if your condition doesn't improve or if you experience symptoms of low potassium (irregular heartbeat, muscle weakness/cramps).

Don'ts

• Don't take the Klor-Con powder dry, as it can irritate your stomach. Take without mixing.
• Don't increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

• Don't change your dosage without consulting your doctor. Skip or adjust dosage.
• Don’t ignore symptoms: Tell your doctor if your condition worsens or you experience potential low potassium symptoms

Common Side Effects:

Serious Side Effects:

• Irregular heartbeat
• Muscle weakness or cramps

• Black or tarry stools
• Vomiting that looks like coffee grounds
