Do’s

Tambocor should be taken by mouth with or without food as directed by your healthcare provider, usually twice daily. The dosage is based on your age, medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you may be taking.

Warnings

Small increases in plasma digoxin levels are seen during the coadministration of Tambocor with digoxin. Additionally, small increases in both flecainide and propranolol plasma levels are seen during the coadministration of these two drugs.

The use of Tambocor in chronic atrial fibrillation has not been adequately studied and is not recommended.

Hypokalemia or hyperkalemia may alter the effects of Tambocor.
