Do's

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the lotion.

Apply the lotion only to the affected areas of your scalp, as directed by your healthcare provider.

Follow the dosage instructions carefully, including how much lotion to use and how often to apply it.

Gently massage the lotion into your scalp to ensure proper application.

Avoid contact with your eyes. If the lotion gets in your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with clean water.

Don'ts

Do not use Dermasone scalp lotion on broken or infected skin.

Do not use an occlusive dressing (airtight bandage) over the treated area unless directed by your healthcare provider.

Do not stop using Dermasone scalp lotion suddenly without talking to your healthcare provider first.

Do not use Dermasone scalp lotion for longer than prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Common Side Effects:

Stinging or burning sensation at the application site

Dryness or itching of the scalp

Redness or irritation of the scalp

Acne breakouts on the scalp

Increased hair growth (usually temporary)

Serious Side Effects (Less Common):

Skin thinning or weakening at the application site

Changes in skin color (lightening or darkening)

Development of small red bumps on the scalp (folliculitis)

Secondary skin infections (due to suppressed immune response)

Bleeding from the scalp, especially if used near broken skin
