Indication : Motrin Children's Grape is essentially a grape-flavored ibuprofen suspension, which is used to reduce fever and additionally relieve minor aches and pains that occur as a result of colds, flu, sore throat, headaches and toothaches for a temporary amount of time. Storage : Motrin Children's Grape should be stored according to packaging directions. Product Information : General Information : Precaution : Talk to your doctor before administering Motrin Children's Grape to your child if: your child has experienced side effects after taking pain relievers or fever reducers; your child has had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems; your child has a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn; if your child is dehydrated; your child has high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease; if your child has asthma; or if your child is taking a diuretic or other drug related to blood thinning. Warnings : Keep this medication out of the reach of children and pets. If any side effects occur while your child is taking this medication, promptly stop administering medication and contact a doctor. Patient Family Information: When administering Motrin Children's Grape to your child, follow the packaging directions. Dosage will depend on the weight or age of your child. Do not give your child any more medication than what is recommended in the packaging directions. If your child's condition continues for ten days, do not give your child any more medicine without first talking to a healthcare professional. Shake bottle well before use and use a volume measuring device to measure your child's dose. Dosage may be repeated every six to eight hours; however, no more than four doses should be given per day. Contraindication : If your child has ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever or fever reducer, do not use Motrin Children's Grape. If your child has recently had or will soon have heart surgery, do not use Motrin Children's Grape. Sever Side Effect: Side Effects: child experiences any of signs of stomach bleeding (feeling faint, vomiting blood, excreting bloody or black stools or having stomach pain that does not get better); child does not get any relief within the 24 hours of treatment; child's fever.
