Gelsyn-3 is a medication used to treat knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. The medication is indicated for patients who have not responded adequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics.

It is specifically indicated for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics, such as acetaminophen.

Gelsyn-3 contains sodium hyaluronate, a substance used to treat pain in the knee due to osteoarthritis. It works by providing lubrication and cushioning benefits to the knee joint, thereby reducing pain and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis.
