Cytra 3 syrup is used to make the urine less acidic. It helps the kidneys get rid of uric acid, which can prevent gout and certain types of kidney stones (urate).

It can also prevent and treat certain metabolic problems (acidosis) caused by kidney disease.

Cytra-3 syrup contains three citrates: sodium citrate, potassium citrate, and citric acid, which belong to a class of drugs known as urinary alkalinizers. These citrates work as urinary alkalinizers, making the urine less acidic.

By neutralizing the acid in the urine, Cytra-3 helps prevent and treat conditions such as uric acid kidney stones, gout, and metabolic acidosis caused by kidney disease. The citrates in Cytra-3 help eliminate uric acid from the body, reducing the risk of gout and certain types of kidney stones.
