Bystolic (generic name: nebivolol) is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

It belongs to a group of drugs called beta-blockers, which affect the heart and circulation and may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.

Do's

  • Read the patient information leaflet provided by your pharmacist before starting treatment with Bystolic and review it each time you get a refill.
  • Consult your healthcare provider for clarification if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Take Bystolic by mouth with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider, usually once daily.
