Abilify (Aripiprazole) is prescribed for conditions like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Tourette's syndrome, irritability associated with autistic disorder, and depression when used in combination with other medications. Aripiprazole belongs to a class of drugs called atypical antipsychotics. Avoid strenuous activity or hot environments, and stay hydrated in hot weather. Seek medical attention if you experience fever, confusion, headache, or dizziness that won't go away. If you have diabetes, consult your healthcare provider as Abilify Oral Solution may contain sugar. Older adults may be more sensitive to side effects like drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, and movement problems (tardive dyskinesia). Abilify Oral Solution should only be used during pregnancy when clearly necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare provider. Newborns exposed to Abilify Oral Solution in late pregnancy may experience withdrawal symptoms. Abilify Oral Solution passes into breast milk. Consult your healthcare provider before breastfeeding. Do not stop taking Abilify Oral Solution unless directed by your healthcare provider, even if you feel better. Discuss the risks and benefits of using Abilify Oral Solution during pregnancy or breastfeeding with your healthcare provider.
