Many of us overeat far too often. Occasionally, it isn’t so bad, but when it happens every day, there’s a problem. Try to limit the amount of food you eat every sitting, but increase the number of meals you eat per day. You should try to have 4-5 small meals throughout the day, but try not to overeat. Also, to get a summer body, make sure you are eating quality foods. If you are eating 4 or 5 small meals a day, but all those meals are from McDonald’s, it really won’t help your situation. Eating smart is one half of the weight loss puzzle, and it’s often easier if you follow a simple healthy diet plan or use a few easy healthy eating tips to stay on track.

If you’ve got the eating part down, then you need to remember to exercise. When you do exercise, do not limit yourself to only doing cardio or only lifting weights. You need to use both to help get rid of that extra weight. Try to fit in some cardio 4 or 5 times a week and weightlifting 2 or 3 times a week. To get in shape for summer, it’s important to remember that you shouldn’t only focus on one body part when lifting weights. You need to work out all your muscles—building personal exercise habits for life can make this much easier.

Consistency is the foundation of losing weight. You must be consistent and develop a routine to be successful. Try to find exercises that you enjoy, as these will probably make it easier for you to achieve your summer body goals, and even 30 minutes a day can have a major impact.
