Stugeron Regular (Cinnarizine)

Do's

• Take a Stugeron Regular Tablet as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment.
• Take the tablet with food to avoid stomach upset
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
• Inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding before taking Stugeron Regular Tablet
• Store the medication in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.

Don'ts

• Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Stugeron Regular Tablet affects you. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Stugeron Regular Tablet as it may increase sleepiness
• Stop taking the medication and consult your healthcare provider if you experience yellowing of the skin, tiredness, fever, nausea, weakness, or a red, lumpy, and itchy rash
• Do not stop taking Stugeron Regular Tablet without consulting your healthcare provider first

Common Side Effects:

• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Stomach pain
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Indigestion
• Weight gain
• Fatigue

Serious Side Effects:

• Allergic reactions, although rare, can occur. Signs of a serious allergic reaction may include difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, and hives. Immediate medical attention is necessary if these symptoms occur.
• Unusual movement of muscles or depressed mood may occur in some cases. If you experience these side effects, it is advised to stop taking Stugeron Regular and contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible.
• In rare cases, Stugeron Regular may cause extrapyramidal symptoms, which can include altered consciousness, vomiting, decreased muscle tone, and seizures in young children. If any of these symptoms occur, seek medical help immediately.

Let your healthcare provider know if you have allergies to Cinnarizine or any other ingredients in Stugeron.

Inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing health issues, particularly:

• Parkinson's disease (Stugeron may worsen symptoms)
• Liver or kidney problems
• Depression
• Blood vessel diseases
• Blood circulation problems

Stugeron may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision, especially at higher doses. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or activities requiring alertness or clear vision until these effects subside. Limit alcohol consumption and discuss marijuana use with your healthcare provider as these can worsen these side effects.

Stugeron is not recommended for children below 5 years of age.

Stugeron should only be used during pregnancy if absolutely necessary. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare provider.

It is unknown if Stugeron passes into breast milk. Consult your healthcare provider before breastfeeding.

Inform your healthcare provider about all medications you take (including Stugeron) before any surgery.
