Do's

• Begin by thoroughly wetting the hair and scalp with water.
• Apply an adequate amount of shampoo to generate sufficient lather to cleanse the hair and scalp.
• Gently massage the entire scalp.
• Rinse the hair with warm water.
• Repeat this process if directed by your healthcare provider.
• Apply the over-the-counter strength of the shampoo (1%), lather, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat this process and dry the hair thoroughly after the second rinse.
• Wet the skin and apply the shampoo to the affected area and the surrounding healthy skin when using other than scalp.
• Allow the lather to remain in place for 5 minutes, then rinse off with water.
• Follow your healthcare provider's instructions or the package directions for the appropriate dosage, application frequency, and treatment duration.
• Inform your healthcare provider if you experience any persistent or worsening symptoms for further guidance.

Don'ts

• Avoid contact with the eyes, and if the shampoo gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not begin using the shampoo if your scalp or skin is broken or swollen.
