Diflucan is an antifungal medicine that is used to treat various fungal infections in different parts of the body, including the mouth, throat, esophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area, and blood.

Diflucan dispersible, also known as fluconazole, is an antifungal medication used to treat various fungal and yeast infections. Fluconazole belongs to a class of drugs called azole antifungals.

It works by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi called lanosterol 14-demethylase, which is responsible for the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol. This interference disrupts the formation of the fungal cell membrane, leading to the inhibition of fungal growth and the elimination of the infection.
