Diamicron is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when dietary measures, physical exercise, and weight loss alone are not sufficient to control blood glucose.

It contains gliclazide, which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, stimulating insulin secretion, and decreasing blood sugar levels. This helps prevent blood glucose levels from rising to very high levels, thus keeping blood sugar levels under control.

  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
