Instead try looking for some foods with 100% whole grains because the digest evenly and give you energy throughout the day.

Many studies show that adults and children who skip breakfast are more likely to be heavier than those that have breakfast every day. Furthermore, studies have shown that children who eat breakfast do better in school because they are more focused and are able to concentrate at a higher level.
