Do’s

• The dosage of Volmax is typically based on the individual's age and the severity of the condition. Take Volmax as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Adults and children older than 12 years of age are usually prescribed 2 or 4 milligrams (mg) taken 3 or 4 times per day. Children 6 to 12 years of age are usually prescribed 4 mg every 12 hours.
• Take Volmax regularly to get the most benefit from it. Take it at the same times each day to help you remember.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
• Learn which medications you should use every day and which ones you should use if your breathing suddenly worsens. Consult your healthcare provider for guidance on what to do if you experience worsening symptoms or if your quick-relief inhaler does not seem to be working well.
• Store the medication in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Don’ts

• Do not increase your dose or take the drug more often than prescribed, as it may increase the risk of serious side effects.
• Do not take double doses.
