Combivent Inhaler is a medication used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. COPD is a chronic lung disease that makes it difficult to breathe. 

Combivent Inhaler contains two active ingredients, ipratropium and albuterol, which work together to open the airways and make breathing easier 

Do's

  • Long-acting bronchodilators, such as salmeterol (Serevent), may interact with Combivent Inhaler and cause serious symptoms like passing out or trouble breathing

Combivent inhalers may cause difficulty with urination, especially in men with an enlarged prostate. If you experience this side effect, be sure to tell your Combivent Inhaler

Combivent inhalers can cause dizziness and blurred vision. Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.

Combivent inhalers are not intended to relieve sudden breathing problems. If you experience sudden breathing problems, you should use a quick-relief inhaler such as albuterol.
