Lamisil Cream (Terbinafine)

Do's

• Apply Lamisil cream only to the affected skin. 
• Wash and dry the area before application. 
• Apply a thin coating as directed, typically once or twice daily. 
• Wash hands after application, unless treating hands. 
• Flush with water if contact occurs. 
• Seek medical advice if your condition worsens or doesn't improve within the specified timeframes (2 weeks for jock itch and ringworm, 4 weeks for athlete's foot). 

Don'ts

• Don't apply Lamisil cream to the scalp or nails unless directed by your healthcare provider. 
• Don't discontinue the treatment prematurely, even if symptoms improve, as stopping early can lead to recurrence. 

Common Side Effects:

• Skin irritation or redness at the application site
• Itching or burning sensation
• Dry skin
• Peeling or flaking of the skin

Serious Side Effects:

• Severe skin reaction: 
• Exfoliative dermatitis, or bullous dermatitis. If you develop a fever, sore throat, burning in your eyes
• Skin pain
• A red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Severe stomach or abdominal pain
• Yellowing of the skin or eyes, or dark urine
• Fever
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Rash, itching
• Swelling (especially of the face, tongue, or throat)
• Severe dizziness
• Trouble breathing

This is not an exhaustive list, and other side effects may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe side effects while taking  Lamisil cream,  contact your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Inform your healthcare provider about allergies. Especially terbinafine, other allylamine antifungals, or any other ingredients.

Disclose any existing health conditions to your healthcare provider before using this product.

Use Lamisil cream only if clearly necessary and after discussing the risks and benefits with your healthcare provider.

Consult your healthcare provider before breastfeeding as it is unknown if the cream passes into breast milk through skin application.
