Zymar (Gatifloxacin)

Indication : Zymar is an antibiotic drug used to treat eye infections caused by bacteria. Storage : Store Zymar in a cool, dry place, in a well sealed container. Product Information : General Information : Precaution : Be careful that the applicator tip does not touch your eyes, or hands, or become contaminated in any way. If this happens and you react negatively contact your doctor. Warnings : If you notice a skin rash, even a very mild rash, immediately contact your doctor or seek medical attention. If you experience severe side effects, contact a doctor. Patient Family Information: Take Zymar as prescribed to you by your health care provider, or as specified on the label. Do not wear contacts during treatment unless your symptoms are unnoticeable. Do not let the dropper applicator tip make contact with your eye, hands, etc. as this can contaminate the dropper. Contraindication : If the eye drops have changed color or have sediments floating in them do not use the medication. Contact your doctor to order a new prescription. If you have any allergies to gatifloxacin or similar medications do not use this medication. It is unknown if this medication is harmful to unborn children or if it is safe. Do not use this medication if you are pregnant unless you have consulted with your doctor first. Sever Side Effects : Severe: severe swelling, burning, redness, or discomfort in or around your eye; eye pain, vision changes, increased sensitivity of your eyes to light; signs of new infection, such as drainage, crusting, or oozing of your eyes or eyelids; the first sign of Common Side Effects : Common: mild itching, burning, redness, or irritation; watery eyes; puffy eyelids; headache; unpleasant taste in your mouth after using the drops.
