Do’s

• The recommended dosage of Panectyl can vary, but it is typically taken 3 times a day, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Your healthcare professional may suggest a different dosage that is more suitable for your specific needs.
• Panectyl can be taken either with or without food. Take it exactly as prescribed.
• Always follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider or as indicated on the label.

Don’ts

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not use more of this product or take it more often than prescribed.
• Avoid consuming alcohol or alcohol-containing products while using Panectyl, as alcohol may intensify the effects of the medication. 

Common Side Effects:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Hypotension
• Headache

Less Common Side Effects:

• Disturbing dreams
• Elation
• Depression
• Fainting

Trimeprazine should be used with caution when there is a risk of potentiating CNS depressant drugs such as opiates, analgesics, antihistamines, barbiturates, and alcohol.
