Kenacomb Cream (Neomycin/Gramicidin/Nystatin/Triamcinolone)

Do’s

• Use Kenacomb only on the skin as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid using it on your face, groin, or underarms unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
• Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream.
• Clean and dry the affected skin area where you will be applying the cream.
• Apply a thin film of the cream to the affected area and gently rub it in.
• Follow your healthcare provider's instructions for application frequency, which is typically 2-4 times daily.
• Avoid covering or wrapping the treated area with bandages or dressings unless specifically instructed by your healthcare provider.

Don'ts

• Don't apply Kenacomb cream to your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
• Don't use more cream than recommended or for longer than prescribed by your healthcare provider.
• Don't use Kenacomb cream to treat a different skin condition than what it was prescribed for.
• Don't stop using Kenacomb cream abruptly without consulting your healthcare provider.

Common Side Effects:

• Diarrhea
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea and vomiting
• Skin rash and itching
• Sun sensitivity

Serious Side Effects:

• Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling of the face, tongue, or throat
• Severe skin reactions, including blistering, peeling, or a painful rash
• Joint pain or swelling
• Sores in the mouth or on the skin
• Corneal thinning or cataract (if used near the eyes)
• Fungal infection or increased intraocular pressure (if used near the eyes)

This is not an exhaustive list, and other side effects may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe side effects while taking Kenacomb cream,  contact your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Store Kenacomb cream securely, ideally in a locked cupboard at least 1.5 meters above the ground.

Consult your healthcare provider before using Kenacomb cream if you have any pre-existing skin conditions.

Discontinue use and inform your healthcare provider if you experience any irritation or worsening of the skin condition. Kenacomb cream is meant to relieve inflammation and itching, not exacerbate it.

Inform your healthcare provider about all medications you're taking, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs. This helps avoid potential interactions.

Follow your healthcare provider's instructions for use precisely. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of treatment.

Kenacomb cream is not for use on the eyes. Avoid contact with the eyes.
