Navane is an antipsychotic medicine, used for the treatment of schizophrenia with symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, unorganized thoughts, and hostility. Important information about Navane

Navane may cause tardive dyskinesia, a condition that is marked by involuntary muscle spasms and twitches in the face and body. It can be permanent and appears mostly among the elderly, especially women. It is not recommended for children below 12 years of age. Use caution while driving or operating machinery, as this medication may cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol while taking Navane.

Navane side effects

Common side effects include:

• Tremors
• Restlessness or pacing
• Fine worm-like tongue movements
• Unusual face, mouth, or jaw movements
• Shuffling walk

Rare side effects include:

• Inflammation of the skin caused by an allergy
• Skin discoloration
• Rash
• Difficult or painful urination
• Irregular periods
• Sexual problems
