Oxeze Turbuhaler is primarily indicated for the treatment of asthma and the prevention of bronchospasm. It is used as concomitant therapy with a long-term asthma control medication, such as an inhaled corticosteroid. This medication is suitable for adults and children who have reversible obstructive airway disease.

  • The usual dose of Oxeze Turbuhaler is 6 g or 12 g twice daily, inhaled every 12 hours. Some adults may need 24 g twice daily, as directed by their healthcare provider. The maximum recommended daily dose for adults is 48 g and for children is 24 g.
  • For the prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB), the usual dose is 6 g or 12 g before exercise.
  • The effectiveness of this medication depends on the proper use of the device for adequate delivery. Have your healthcare provider instruct you on how to use the device correctly.
  • If you use Oxeze Turbuhaler regularly and forget a dose, you should administer it as soon as you remember. However, if it has been more than 6 hours since your last dose, you should skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. If you are unsure about what to do after missing a dose, contact your healthcare provider for advice.
  • Oxeze Turbuhaler should be stored at room temperature and kept out of the reach of children.

  • If your healthcare provider has recommended a different dose than the ones listed here, do not change the way you are using the medication without consulting them.  Many factors, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications, can affect the dose of a medication that a person needs.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
