Dicetel (Pinaverium Bromide)

Do’s

• Take exactly as prescribed: Follow your healthcare provider's instructions for dosage and frequency (typically 3 times a day).

• Swallow whole: Don't crush, chew, or suck on the tablets.
• Take at consistent times: This helps maintain consistent medication levels in your body.
• Continue taking it even if you feel well: Dicetel helps you manage symptoms, not necessarily cure the underlying condition.

Don'ts

• Don't take more than prescribed. Exceeding the recommended dosage can be harmful.
• Don't take it just before bed. Upright posture is recommended for optimal absorption.
• Don't take with alcohol, coffee, or spicy foods: These can irritate your stomach.
• Don't stop taking it abruptly: Talk to your healthcare provider before discontinuing use.
• Don't use it if pregnant or breastfeeding: Consult your healthcare provider for alternative medications if needed.

Common Side Effects:

• Nausea

Serious Side Effects:

• Difficulty swallowing
• Heartburn
• Throat or chest pain
• Signs of a serious allergic reaction (e.g., abdominal cramps, difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting, or swelling of the face and throat

Do not take Dicetel, if you are allergic to pinaverium or any other ingredients in the medication.

Consult your healthcare provider before using Dicetel if you have Kidney disease.

If you miss a dose, contact your healthcare provider for advice, but do not take extra medication.

Store Dicetel at room temperature, protect it from light and moisture, and keep it out of reach of children.
