Nevanac Suspension is used to relieve eye pain, irritation, and redness following cataract eye surgery. It is specifically indicated for the reduction of pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery.

Nepafenac, the active ingredient in Nevanac, belongs to a class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This classification is important as it signifies its mechanism of action in alleviating pain and inflammation in the eye post-surgery.

Nepafenac works by blocking certain natural substances (prostaglandins) in the body that cause pain and swelling. By inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, it helps reduce the inflammatory response and associated discomfort following cataract surgery.
