Kaopectate is used as an anti-diarrhea medication and antacid (reduces stomach acid). This medication is used to treat nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhea. Store Kaopectate at room temperature in a cool, dry location. Do not freeze this medication.
