Do’s

• The typical dose of Evoxac is 30 mg taken orally three times a day. However, the dosage may vary based on your medical condition and how you respond to the treatment. Follow the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
• Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Use this medication regularly to achieve the most benefit. To help remember, take it at the same times each day. 
• You may continue to drink water or use saliva substitutes as needed for moisture in your mouth.
• You may start to experience some benefit from Evoxac in 1 to 2 weeks; however, it may take up to 6 weeks to feel the full benefit.
• Inform your healthcare provider if your condition persists or worsens during the treatment period.

• Dry mouth
• Stuffy nose

Store Evoxac at room temperature away from light and moisture. It should not be stored in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets. Properly discard the product when it is expired or no longer needed.

You should not take Evoxac if you have uncontrolled asthma, glaucoma, or an eye condition called iritis or uveitis. Inform your healthcare provider about any existing conditions to ensure the safety of taking Evoxac.

Before taking Evoxac, inform your doctor if you have asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart disease, angina, a history of heart attack, a heart rhythm disorder, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, or a history of kidney stones or gallstones. This information will help your doctor assess the safety of using Evoxac for your specific medical history.

Evoxac should be used with caution in individuals known or suspected to be deficient in CYP2D6 activity, as they may be at a higher risk of adverse events. Additionally, drugs that inhibit CYP2D6 and CYP3A3/4 also inhibit the metabolism of cevimeline. Discuss any existing medications or conditions with your healthcare provider before taking Evoxac.

Consult a healthcare provider before taking Evoxac during pregnancy, nursing, or administering it to children or the elderly.
