Do’s

  • Before starting Trileptal and with each refill, read the Medication Guide provided by the pharmacist. If there are any questions, consult a healthcare provider.

  • The dosage is determined based on the individual's medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications being taken. For children, the dosage is also based on their weight.
  • To minimize the risk of side effects, your healthcare provider may advise starting the medication at a low dose and gradually increasing it. Follow their instructions and inform them about all products being used, including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products.
