Prolopa Dispersible is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's syndrome, with the exception of drug-induced parkinsonism. It is associated with the amelioration of the symptoms of Parkinson's syndrome and significantly diminishes the incidence of levodopa-induced peripheral side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and possibly cardiac arrhythmias.

Do’s

If general anesthesia is required, Prolopa Dispersible can be discontinued the night before surgery. Therapy can be recommenced as soon as the patient is able to receive oral medication.
