Do’s

• Take Levlite exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, once daily at the same time each day. Consistency is key for effectiveness.
• Follow the instructions on the pack to find the first tablet and take them in the correct order. Don't skip doses. Missing pills can decrease effectiveness and increase pregnancy risk.
• Take Levlite with or without food.
• Start a new pack the day after you finish all the pills in the current pack, regardless of whether you have your period. This maintains a regular hormone cycle.
• Inform your healthcare provider about all medications and supplements you take. Some medications can interact with Levlite and decrease its effectiveness.
• Use a backup birth control method (like condoms) for the first 7 days of your first cycle to ensure effectiveness while your body adjusts to the hormones.
• See your healthcare provider for regular checkups to discuss any concerns and monitor your overall health.

Don'ts

• Don't take Levlite if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
• Don't smoke cigarettes if you are over 35 years old and taking Levlite. Smoking significantly increases the risk of blood clots.
• Don't use herbal supplements or other medications without first consulting your healthcare provider.
• Don't share your Levlite with anyone else.
• Don't stop taking Levlite without talking to your healthcare provider first

Common side effects may include:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Eye discomfort
• Watery eyes
• Dryness in the eyes
• Itching

Serious side effects may include:

• Lumps in the breast
• Mental/mood changes (such as new/worsening depression)
• Severe stomach/abdominal pain
• Unusual changes in vaginal bleeding (such as continuous spotting, sudden heavy bleeding, missed periods)
• Dark urine
• Yellowing of the eyes/skin
• Serious problems from blood clots (such as deep vein thrombosis, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, stroke)

Do not take Levlite 21 Day if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, including Levonorgestrel, Ethinyl Estradiol, or any other inactive ingredients. They list some brand names that might contain these ingredients, but consult your healthcare provider for the full list.

Do not take Levlite 21 Day if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.

Smoking significantly increases your risk of blood clots if you are 35 or older and taking Levlite 21 Day.

Levlite 21 Day increases the risk of blood clots if you have a history of blood clots, blood vessel problems, heart problems, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Several health conditions can increase your risk of complications from Levlite: migraines, diabetes, liver problems, unexplained vaginal bleeding, certain types of cancer, jaundice, and upcoming major surgery.

Levlite 21 Day does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Take Levlite 21 Day exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider and never share it with others.
