Do's

• Keep your healthcare provider's appointments: Keep all of your appointments with your healthcare provider so that they can monitor your progress and adjust your dosage as needed.
• Tell your healthcare provider about all of the medications you are taking: This includes prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as vitamins and herbal supplements. Fluanxol Depot can interact with other medications, so it is important to tell your healthcare provider about everything you are taking.
• Tell your healthcare provider about your medical history: This includes any mental or physical health conditions you have, as well as any surgeries you have had.
• Tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding: Fluanxol Depot should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the benefits outweigh the risks.
• Take Fluanxol Depot exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider: Do not take more or less medication than prescribed, and do not take it more often than prescribed.

Don'ts

• Do not stop taking Fluanxol Depot without talking to your healthcare provider: Stopping Fluanxol Depot suddenly can cause withdrawal symptoms.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking Fluanxol Depot: Alcohol can worsen the side effects of Fluanxol Depot.
• Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how Fluanxol Depot affects you: Fluanxol Depot can cause dizziness and drowsiness.
• Do not use illegal drugs while taking Fluanxol Depot. Illegal drugs can interact with Fluanxol Depot and worsen your side effects.

Common side effects:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Restlessness
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Blurred vision
• Weight gain
• Increased sweating
• Sexual dysfunction

Serious side effects (which may require urgent medical attention):

• Signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as abdominal cramps, difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting, or swelling of the face and throat
• Signs of a stroke, such as headache, loss of coordination, slurred speech, weakness, numbness, or unexplained pain in the arm or leg

Do not take Fluanxol Depot Injection if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.

Fluanxol Depot Injection may cause QT prolongation, which can increase your risk of serious heart problems. Your healthcare provider will check your heart rhythm before you start taking Fluanxol Depot Injection and may monitor it regularly while you are taking the medication.

Fluanxol Depot Injection may lower your blood pressure, especially when you first start taking it. This can cause dizziness or fainting. Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how Fluanxol Depot Injection affects you.

Fluanxol Depot Injection may cause drowsiness or sedation. This can be especially problematic if you are driving or operating machinery.

Fluanxol Depot Injection may mask the signs and symptoms of other conditions. For example, it can make it more difficult to regulate your body temperature.

Fluanxol Depot Injection may interact with other medications you are taking. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider about all of the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements.
