Do's

• Read packaging instructions: Carefully review the information on the packaging before each use.
• Start strategically: Ideally, begin treatment a month before flea season and continue monthly until the season ends. In areas with year-round fleas, continuous monthly use is recommended.
• Maintain a monthly schedule: The recommended dosage is one chewable tablet per month.
• Administer with food: To optimize effectiveness, give Comfortis with a meal.
• Offer it like a treat: Dogs often readily consume the chewable tablet before eating. You can also crumble it into their food or administer it orally like any other tablet medication.
• Repeat after vomiting: If your dog vomits within an hour of taking Comfortis, give another full dose.
• Catch up on missed doses: If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember, but don't double up.

Don'ts

• Don't exceed dosage: Stick to the prescribed monthly dosage and avoid giving more than one tablet per month.
• Don't use expired medication: Check the expiry date and discard expired Comfortis.
• Don't use it on other animals: Comfortis is for dogs only.
• Don't use it on pregnant or nursing dogs: Consult your veterinarian for alternative flea control methods in such cases.
