How should I take Nicorette Ice Mint/Nicotine polacrilex - non Rx ?

Follow your doctor's recommendations closely and do not take larger doses than prescribed. Chew the gum like regular chewing gum but stop once you start feeling a tingling sensation or pepper-like taste. Once the feeling or taste occurs, keep the gum between your cheek and gum until the tingling sensation dissipates. After than, resume chewing until the taste or sensation returns again and place it on the other side of your mouth. Do not chew too fast as it may release too much nicotine and cause stomach issues, hiccups, or nausea. After 30 minutes, remove the gum or when the sensation or taste no longer returns. After chewing the gum, do not eat or drink for 15 minutes.
