If you have allergies to any ingredients listed on the label of Clindagel or have allergies to lincomycin do not use this medication. If you have enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or have ever experienced severe diarrhea from an antibiotic medication you may be unable to use this medication.

What precautions should I follow when taking Clindagel /Clindamycin Phosphate ?

Do not combine this medication with other harsh skin soaps, shampoos, cleansers, or hair waxes.

What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Clindagel /Clindamycin Phosphate ?

Do not smoke while using the topical foam form of this medication or right after using it as the contents of the canister are flammable. If you experience diarrhea from this medication contact your doctor. Diarrhea may be a sign of an additional infection.

When should Clindagel /Clindamycin Phosphate not be taken?

Severe: Severe redness, itching, or dryness of treat skin areas; or diarrhea that is watery or bloody.

Common: Mild burning or itching; mild dryness or redness of treated area.
