How should I take Agrylin/Anagrelide ?

Taking Agrylin with food can help reduce stomach upset. If you miss a dose of Agrylin, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses of Agrylin at once.

This medication can increase your risk of sunburn. Avoid direct sunlight, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to Agrylin. Avoid activities that can cause bruising or injury. Agrylin can reduce the number of clot forming cells in your blood. Tell your doctor if you are experiencing unusual bruising or bleeding, or if you have dark, tarry, or bloody stools. Tell any doctor that treats you that you are using Agrylin. You may need to have lab tests performed on your liver function, blood counts, kidney function, and blood pressure while using Agrylin. Attend all of your scheduled appointments.
