Flarex is a steroidal medicine that is used to reduce inflammation in the eyes that may have been caused by injury, surgery, or infection.

This medication should be stored at room temperature, in an area protected from moisture and cold.

Before taking Flavex, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, have any medical conditions including herpes, or if you are taking any other steroidal medications. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, notify your doctor, as taking Flarex may have side effects on an unborn baby.

When taking Flavex, take contact lenses out, and wait fifteen minutes before putting them back in. Do not allow the tip of the eyedropper to become contaminated by letting it come into contact with your hands or eyes. If your dropper becomes contaminated, call your doctor for a new prescription.

Flarex should be taken exactly as prescribed. When taking Flarex, follow the directions on the prescription label. Wash hands before taking eye drops.

Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any of its contents. If you have any type of viral or fungal eye infection, ocular herpes, tuberculosis, or an untreated infection in your eye or elsewhere, including chickenpox, it taking Flavex is not recommended.

Severe side effects include: pain behind your eyes, sudden vision changes, severe headache; sudden eye irritation; blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain, or seeing halos around lights; or signs of new eye infection, such as swelling, draining, or crusti
