How should I take Lindane Shampoo/Lindane Shampoo?

Before using Lindane Lotion, wash, rinse, and dry your hands from any lotion, cream, oil, or ointment. You can take a warm bath or shower prior to using Lindane Lotion. Make sure you dry your skin off thoroughly and then wait for an hour before applying on the Lindane Lotion. Shake well before applying to skin. When applying the Lindane Lotion, rub on a thin layer of lotion to cover the entire skin from neck down. Also rub the soles of your feet and under fingernails (Use a toothbrush to get lotion under the nails if needed. Discard the toothbrush when finished). After applying on the Lindane Lotion, wear light clothing to not completely cover skin. Leave the lotion on for 8 to 12 hours and then wash off the cream completely and thoroughly. Apply the Lindane Lotion only once. Do not apply the Lindane Lotion to premature infants. When applying Lindane Lotion on someone else, wear vinyl or latex rubber gloves, especially if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use natural latex gloves because the Lindane Lotion can seep through them. After applying Lindane Lotion on people, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent the lotion from absorbing into your skin.

Do not use Lindane shampoo on premature infants, patients who are pregnant, patients who do not have lice, patients who have recently used Lindane shampoo within the past few months; patients who have not tried other methods to treat lice; if you have had a bad reaction to the Lindane Shampoo; if you have open or crusty sores or broken skin on or around your head and neck; patients who have scabies; patients who are sensitive to Lindane shampoo, patients with crusted (Norwegian) scabies and other skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, or psoriasis), and patients with uncontrolled seizure disorders .
