When should Lindane Shampoo/Lindane Shampoo not be taken?
Do not use Lindane shampoo on premature infants, patients who are pregnant, patients who do not have lice, patients who have recently used Lindane shampoo within the past few months; patients who have not tried other methods to treat lice; if you have had a bad reaction to the Lindane Shampoo; if you have open or crusty sores or broken skin on or around your head and neck; patients who have scabies; patients who are sensitive to Lindane shampoo, patients with crusted (Norwegian) scabies and other skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, or psoriasis), and patients with uncontrolled seizure disorders . Also, do not use Lindane shampoo as a prevention of lice or reinfestation of lice method.
