Seasonale is a prescription birth control medicine used as contraception to prevent pregnancy. Seasonale works by preventing the release of an egg from an ovary (ovulation) and cause changes to the uterine and cervical lining so it will be more difficult for the sperm to reach the uterus and for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
