Nasacort AQ Spray (Triamcinolone Acetonide) is a medication used to treat allergy symptoms including swelling, redness, irritation, or itching in the nasal passages.Store in room temperature. Do not freeze or store in the bathroom. Keep away from heat, moisture, light, children and pets.Read the directions on the prescription label. Do not take larger doses than prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication as directed on the label or by your pharmacist, doctor, or other healthcare provider. When using Nasacort AQ Spray (Triamcinolone Acetonide) the first time, you must prime the spray pump by shaking the medication well and spraying 6 test sprays into the air away from your face until a fine mist appears. Before using the Nasacort AQ Spray (Triamcinolone Acetonide), remove the clover and clip and do not make the hole at the end of the spray bigger. Gently blow your nose before using the nose spray. Sit down, slightly tilt your head back, and place the tip of the spray container into the nose. Press a finger against the opposite nostril to close it off and breathe gently with the open nostril while squeezing the spray container. After each use, rinse the tip of the spray unit in hot water, dry with a clean tissue to prevent contamination, and put the cover and clip back on the container. Prime the spray only if you have not used it for more than 14 days. For the next 15 minutes, do not blow your nose. To get the most benefit from Nasacort AQ Spray (Triamcinolone Acetonide), use it regularly. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose only if its almost time for your next dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double up on doses. If the pump becomes clogged, remove the cap and spray nozzle from the bottle and soak the cap and spray nozzle in warm water for a few minutes. Rinse it with cold water an shake off the excess water to allow it to air dry. Once dried, put the nozzle back on the pump and reprime until a fine mist comes out and then use it as normal.
