Absorbine is used to treat various fungal infections, including athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Store Absorbine in at room temperature. Keep this medication in its original container. Do not store Absorbine in the bathroom. Keep away from children and pets. Take Absorbine exactly as prescribed to you by your doctor. Use Absorbine on your skin only. Shake the container well before using. Clean the area before applying Absorbine. Wash your hands after application unless your hands need treatment as well. Avoid getting Absorbine in your eyes, nose or mouth. When using Absorbine for athlete's foot, wear proper shoes and changes your shoes and socks at minimum once per day. If you have allergies to any ingredients listed on this medication or the medication itself do not take Absorbine. If you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medications (prescription or non-prescription) inform your health care provider in case these will interfere with the medication. If you have allergies to any other substances (food, medication, etc.) inform your doctor before using Absorbine. A very severe allergic reaction to Absorbine may include swelling of the face, throat, lips, tongue, difficulty breathing, or hives. If this occurs get immediate medical attention.
