How Can You Tell If You Have A Migraine?
A headache is characterized as pain, felt first at the base of brain structure or in its surrounding tissue, which is often caused by muscle contractions or circulation problems. Migraines, in comparison to headaches, can prove to be much more serious, requiring a doctor’s assessment or even medication.
Migraines are characterized by several common symptoms:
• Unusually long headaches – Migraines can last from 4 to 72 hours, much longer than the average headache. • Throbbing pain on one side of the head – Headache pain is often steady and felt throughout the whole head; migraines tend to have an intense pulsating nature, in one area. • Sensitivity to light or sound – Migraine sufferers tend to avoid stimulation. If your headaches are so severe that you’ve had to enclose yourself in a dark room, you may be experiencing more than a headache. • Nausea and vomiting – Migraine headaches can also include nausea and vomiting, which isn’t pretty. • Headache worsening with movement – While regular headaches remain on the same ‘pain frequency’ no matter which way you move, migraines intensify with movement. • Pain interferes with daily activities – The pain experienced through migraines can be extremely severe, and get in the way of your everyday life. • Pain occurs after auras – Some migraines occur not long after what medical experts call auras, which can be visual disturbances, like seeing blind spots or double vision, or losing sense of touch or speech. These auras often last for short periods of time, and there is a short break between them and the onset of an excruciating migraine.
Any pain that you experience in your head is going to hurt, whether it’s a headache or a migraine. However, while headaches can be eased with over-the-counter medication, frequent migraines are a severe medical condition, which requires medical attention.

5 Warning Signs Men Shouldn't Ignore
Well let us get straight to the point here, men are stubborn. It is hard for some of us to admit it, but it is very true. Men tend to avoid going to the doctor if they experience some... well let's say some sort of discomfort or irregularity. Women on the other hand tend to go to the doctor as soon as they get something like a headache or a stomach ache, well maybe not exactly like that, but they tend to visit the doctor if they notice something that is irregular and could pose a health threat.
Men (yes, myself included), don't really like going to the hospital very much and tend to put off some very troubling warning signs. The problem is the more macho you are (or the more macho you act) the less likely you are to go to the hospital. However, many men experience some warning signs that can be dangerous even fatal in some cases.
1. Chest pain: Well this would seem like a pretty obvious sign that basically comes out with a baseball bat and hits you saying "GO TO THE DOCTOR, RIGHT NOW!!!" However, the truth of the matter is that any men decide to just ignore it. Chest pain can be a sign of heart attack so next time you should probably get it checked out.
2. A big belly: It is true that when men get in relationships and/or get married they tend to put on a few pounds, but a big belly may be a sign of something else. Belly fat could indicate that a man has low testosterone levels, and low testosterone can increase the risk of diabetes and coronary artery disease.
3. An unenthusiastic penis: Yes, impotence can just be purely psychological, but it also could be a sign that a man has cardiovascular disease. If the arteries that supply blood to the penis aren't working properly, those that supply blood to the heart and brain might not be working so well either. Men that have erectile dysfunction should try to talk to their doctors about more than getting that little blue pill.
4. More frequent urination: frequent urination may be a sign of prostatitis, or inflammation of the prostate gland. If you get up in the middle of the night to urinate, especially more than once then you might want to tell your doctor about it.
5. Prescription drug addiction: Some people that get hooked to prescription medication don't even realize they are addicted, and once you get addicted it is probably a pretty good indicator that you should stop. Addiction to anything can be very serious, but when you start popping Vicoden like Pez from a Pez dispenser (Much like Dr. House from the television show that shares the same name) then you should hopefully know you've got a problem.

How Can Amerge (naratriptan) Help Treat Migraine Headaches?
Amerge (Naratriptan) is a headache medicine used to treat migraine headaches. It works by narrowing the blood vessels around the brain. Amerge, which is available to purchase at our online Canadian pharmacy, also reduces substances in the body that can trigger headache pain, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine symptoms. Are You Aware That There Are Three Types of Head Aches?
1. Tension: Psychological stress or being over worked can result in a tension headache. Out of the three types of headaches, tension head aches are the most common. They are usually brought on by anxiety, lack of sleep, and stress.
2. Migraine: Ten to fifteen percent of people experience migraine headaches. They are severe and typically only affect one side of the head. They usually produce sharp pains which often lead to vomiting, nausea, or vision problems. Scientists believe that migraines are due in part to fluctuations in the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain. While they are still unsure as to what causes those fluctuations, many theorize that anger, physical and mental fatigue, and stress may contribute to migraines.
3. Sinus: A sinus headache typically results from an infection or heavy congestion in the para nasal sinuses. There are numerous causes for sinus headaches such as severe cold, a deviated nasal septum, and allergies. Important Information: Amerge will only treat a headache that has already begun. It will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks. Before using Amerge, tell your doctor if you are allergic to Amerge or to any other drug, you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding a baby during treatment. If you have high blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, coronary artery disease. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, minerals and herbal products that you use. Do not use Amerge (Naratriptan) if you have: A history of heart disease Angina (chest pain) Blood circulation problems Ischemic bowel disease Severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure History of a heart attack or stroke Precaution, while using Amerge (Naratriptan): After taking an Amerge tablet, you must wait four (4) hours before taking a second tablet. Do not take more than two (2) naratriptan tablets in 24 hours. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert as Amerge may impair your judgement or reactions. Amerge (Naratriptan) should not be given to anyone under 18 or over 65 years of age. Do not use Amege within 24 hours after taking such medicines as almotriptan, eletriptan, frovatriptan, sumatriptan, rizatriptan, zolmitriptan or ergot medicine such as methysergide and ergotamine. Serious side effects: Chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling Sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body Sudden headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance Fast heart rate, agitation, muscle stiffness, hallucinations, lack of coordination, with nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea Sudden and severe stomach pain and bloody diarrhea Numbness or tingling and a pale or blue-colored appearance in your fingers or toes Sore throat, ear pain, fever, cold symptoms Less serious side effects: This information is advisory only. It does not contain all information about this medication. If you have any questions about Amerge, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or health care provider.
