Avelox fights against and kills the bacteria in the body that can cause sinusitis, pneumonia, and secondary infections in chronic bronchitis. It is also used to treat sinus and lung infections and also fights skin infections caused by staph or strep.

Avelox will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.
Avelox can make your skin sensitive to sunburn, you must avoid direct sunlight and use sunscreen and wear protective cloth when you go outside.
Avelox may affect your thinking or reaction time. Try to avoid driving or doing anything that requires you to be awake and alert during the treatment.

Before taking Avelox, tell your doctor if you

have an allergic reaction to an antibiotic
are using a diuretic medicine (water pill)
have a low level of potassium in your blood (hypokalemia)
have heart or liver disease
have epilepsy or another seizure disorder
are pregnant or breastfeeding

Not be used by children younger than 18 years of age; if you are using a heart rhythm medicine such as quinidine, procainamide, amiodarone, sotalol and others; if you or any member of your family has a heart condition, known as long QT syndrome.

Avelox Side Effects

Serious side effects:

Allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives)
rapid or pounding heartbeat
diarrhea that is watery or bloody
hallucinations, depression, thoughts of suicide
fainting or seizure (convulsions)
liver damage (yellowing of the skin or eyes, sudden stomach pain, severe fatigue)
sudden pain or swelling near your joints (especially in your arm or ankle.)

Less serious side effects:

Mild nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain
Dizziness, confusion
Nervousness, anxiety, sleeping problems

You must tell your doctor if you are using aspirin or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as Celebrex, Voltaren and others that can affect Boniva.
Boniva can cause serious problems in the stomach or esophagus.
Treatment with this medication should be done along with diet changes, exercise, and taking calcium and vitamin supplements
Do not take Boniva with mineral water, sparkling water, coffee, tea, milk, or juice.

Gonal F is used to treat infertility in women by stimulating the ovaries to produce eggs. It is also used to treat male infertility by increasing sperm count.
It is used in Ovulation Induction (OI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF), to supplement a woman’s naturally occurring follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Gonal F is not effective if the patient is no longer developing eggs or producing sperm.

Triphasil is a combination oral contraceptive (contains both estrogen and progestin) commonly prescribed to prevent pregnancy. Colchicine is an antigout agent used to treat and prevent pain associated with gouty arthritis. It prevents gout attacks by removing extra uric acid from the body.

What is gouty arthritis?

Gouty arthritis is a form of arthritis that is characterized by sudden, severe attacks of pain, redness and tenderness in joints.
The symptoms of gout are almost always acute, occurring suddenly — often at night — and without warning. They include:

Intense joint pain. Gout usually affects the large joint of your big toe but can occur in your feet, ankles, knees, hands and wrists. The pain typically lasts five to 10 days and then stops. The discomfort subsides gradually over one to two weeks, leaving the joint apparently normal and pain-free.
Inflammation and redness. The affected joint or joints become swollen, tender and red.

Important Colchicine information

This medication is not effective for all types of pain and is not considered an analgesic (painkilling) drug. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while using Colchicine.
Stop taking this medicine immediately and check with your doctor as soon as possible if severe diarrhea, nausea vomiting, or stomach pain occurs while you are taking this medicine.
Before using Colchicine tell your doctor if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medications
you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breast-feeding

you have stomach problems
