Fight nasal symptoms with Fluticasone Propionate

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ashlynn @ 12:55 pm

Fluticasone Propionate (brand name – Flonase) is a prescription nasal spray approved to treat indoor and outdoor allergies and nonallergic symptoms. Fluticasone Propionate helps reduce the inflammation that leads to nasal symptoms that include congestion, sneezing, and itchy, runny nose.

Fluticasone Propionate combats symptoms for both seasonal and year-round allergies. Seasonal allergies most often occur in the spring and fall when pollen is released, whereas year-round allergies are triggered by dust, mold and animal dander.

Year-round nonallergic nasal symptoms are caused by inflammation and irritation of the nose lining. The general symptoms for people suffering from nonallergic symptoms have runny noses and postnasal drip, as well as stuffiness.

Why Fluticasone Propionate?
Unlike other nonprescription nasal sprays and allergy medications, Fluticasone Propionate is not habit causing and doesn’t cause drowsiness. Since the spray is delivered directly inside your nose, it is more effective. Fluticason Propionate attacks your symptoms where you need it the most.

SIDE EFFECTS
Most side effects go away during treatment. Side effects include sneezing, stuffy nose, and an unpleasant taste or smell. In some cases, the lining of your nasal passages may dry. If any of these symptoms continue or become bothersome, notify your doctor.

If you experience any of the following side effects, stop taking Fluticasone Propionate immediately and contact your doctor:

  • nosebleeds
  • nose or throat pain
  • difficulty breathing
  • tightness of chest
  • swelling of eyelids, face, or lips
  • rash or hives

  1. i am using this medicine. it may work. i do not have allergies. in otherwords i have lived in towns alot and rural. i am not allergic to anything natural. often perplexed that persons are. yet doctors will assume you are. often they will say what you have is not serious or even non-existing. yet i don’t go to any doctor unless i have symptoms and am sick. i don’t believe anyone telling me i am sick if i do not feel sick. so i wonder about medicine today. i am told i am not sick when i feell sick, and when not sick seriously ill.

i would rather not be treated for an allergy if i have a cold. i do try to say that the environment has affected me. nyc is downright awful. you could be walking several blocks and suddenly the air is stifling or vile. if you are sick,it can increase illness. often very often i have had that moment now i feel i will be well,a bad sudden environment can reverse it just as suddenly. even poor indoor environments- less than 10 minutes exposure can cause huge problems. i want to be done with this environment. i grew up in places where comparably the environment is fine possibly great so i know the difference. problem is if you have an asthma like reaction to a poor environment your nasal passages might close up. i read this is way of nature to block out something foreign. then you might be lucky run into a garden or park where there is a fresh breeze. unfortunately you can still continue to suffer, because your body is still shut down from maybe a few blocks away for only a number of seconds, without being able to detect where it has come from, the air is fetid. Now you may end up being sick for next 10 days and unfortunately the great breeze does not help so much. Perhaps it would be best to come from this great breeze. Not always possible. A foul air stagnant can happen just about anywhere nyc and in some places a caustic problem like fall out and persons should be given free gas masks. It is sad only a few wrong seconds can cause these difficult environmental hazards. No pollution is not an allergy. An allergy to natural things is possible i suppose. However who is not supposed to adjust to environmental pollution. I am allergic to dust someone says. Dust occurs in the most clean environment. Everyone should not care for really awful environmental stuff. So is it right to be treated like you have an allergy when you have been bombarded in a few seconds with stagnant air or something. I guess it can cause a cold i believe because that is enough to breakdown your resistance and get sick. drat.
